		<description>Firstly, anyone who studies the Tanakh in the original Hebrew - as most Jews do - will know that there is nothing about Jesus anywhere IN it. Christianity tries very hard to back engineer Jesus into the Hebrew scriptures, but it can&#039;t, as he isn&#039;t there. 
 
Secondly: in Judaism, NO one person can possibly &#039;atone&#039; for the sins of others. This entire notion is totally at odds with Jewish belief. The Torah tells us, categorically, that EACH human is responsible for their OWN sins. 
 
Isaiah 53 - again, if one reads the whole of Isaiah, sans the artificial &#039;chapter breaks&#039; added by the Church then one sees clearly that the &#039;suffering servant&#039; is ISRAEL. </description>
