Wrath of Zeus?

Atheist Under Ur Bed posted an entry a few days ago listing some more recent examples of what he calls the “wrath of Zeus” – stories in which church steeples are damaged by lightning. It might just be random acts of nature, but nonetheless it gave me an idea for a shirt.

A well dressed, nuclear family is smiling and holding their bibles in front of their church. But, wait, what’s that? Zeus has decided to take out his anger from being regulated to the mythological dust bin of history by these “Judeo-Christian” religions by taking out the church’s steeple – with not one, but three lightning bolts! Why the steeple? Because it is an easy target from a top Mount Olympus, of course.

I came up with the following four sayings to accompany the picture. Can you think of any more?

Fear Thee Zeus shirtWrath of Zeus shirt

Beware of Zeus shirtYe of Little Faith shirt

All the shirts are listed here in the shop.
