A couple of points:

When I see unbelievable things I tend to not believe them. Although, I am open to believing them. I don't assume that god was/is involved.

The world without god is still beautiful. Sunsets, trees, and bacteria are still magnificent.

I suppose that if I said that I refused to believe in god you would call me closed minded. Therefore, your refusal to believe in a world without god seems closed minded. Besides, most atheist will not say with 100% certainty that there is no god(s). However, 100% of atheist would believe in god if there where evidence. When I say evidence I me evidence like there is evidence for gravity, air, and electro-magnetic radiation.

I dont understand how u can not believe in god, if you just look aound you will see unbelivable things man made or just natural beautyof the world. Do u really think that we got this far by ourselves, god was the divine spark that gave life to the world, its obvious we evolved from bacteria in the ocean millions o years ago, humans and apes share 99% of the dna, but that doesnt rule out the exsistence of god, if you use your logic u will see that there is something driving this, i refuse to believe that there isnt a god, of all the planets in the universe ours is in perect proportion with the sun and the moon. When bad things happen thats gods way of testing us i he never did how could we ever become stronger, faith is hard to have i know this from personal experience but that doesnt mean it isnt worth having, everything happens for a reason.

You ask so many questions, trying to argue and reasoning everything but unfortunately, that will not save your life because you will never find the correct answer unless you really get to know Zeus in a personal way, a relationship. You need to stop lying to yourself and let the darkness come out of your eyes! You are blind! Wake up! Stop and think…. Your life does not make any sense. Do you know why? Because inside of you, you are empty …and the only perfect puzzle that will fulfill all this emptiness inside of you is Zeus. If you are always looking for the right answer, why haven’t you tried for yourself? Why did you just decide to reason everything without asking Zeus to help you with the right answer? Try it!

All of you people will see Jesus Christ right before your own eyes and you will bound down before Him and hopefully He, the only God and Savior will be please to receive you in His eternal house, heaven. Otherwise, you should know where you are going and who is going to say welcome home for eternity! The father of sin, of lies…. You should know how you serve. Look at yourself. You could be much better with God.

I think that it is fair to say that we all are born atheists and must at some point choose to believe in the god or gods we are taught about.

I think this gets at the core issue, which is that the writer assumes that atheists choose to disbelieve in God. Even if this applies to some atheists, it certainly doesn't apply to others; there are plenty who couldn't believe even if they wanted to. Beliefs often aren't directly subject to the will.

Of course, just as this suggests that we shouldn't explain atheism as the result of wishful thinking, so too it suggests that we shouldn't explain religious belief as the result of wishful thinking; it cuts both ways.

And here I was thinking it was intellectual humility that brought me to atheism: I realize that my wishful thinking doesn't make things true. I had no idea I was so intellectually prideful ...

Before I jump the gun - is that 'Well...' at the end of your post an invitation for me to elaborate? Or was it just a member of the significant pause family of telling points?

Sorry to come over pedantic - I just tend to get overexcited by openly rhetorical questions. :P
