It is ironic how people like Meekins consider atheists to have questionable morality when they commit themselves to a position in which human beings have no moral capacity or compass and therefore have to depend on the pronouncements of a capricious god. After all, god could command anything and Meekins, if he truly believes what he does, would be utterly incapable of judging the moral worth of the command. Well said. He may not be able to imagine behaving himself simply because it's the right thing to do, but those of us who understand the non-aggression principle have no problem constructing an ethical system from the premise of human rights. A suggestion to Meekins' neighbors: keep your eye on that boy. He's the kind of person who tends to go berserk and lash out at the people around him.
