Today is Blasphemy Day

Yes, today is Blasphemy Day, the one day out of the year when you can let all of your criticisms fly. Actually, the point of the day is to declare our right to hurl those criticisms on any day of the year that we choose. Why? Because ideas don’t need rights. Only people do. No idea is so sacred that it must be protected from dissent.

If you do nothing else today, try to remind a few people of that fact in addition to the fact that not every part of the world can enjoy such freedom.

And if you really want to flount it, well, you can always check out my blasphemy related items. Guaranteed to cause 4 out of every 10 passerbys to pause and think.
