One thing in your post I'd like to clarify: the evangelical Christian movement which calls itself 'messianic judaism' is not part of Judaism. Literally not Jewish. The Messianic movement was founded by southern Baptists with the sole aim of providing a more appealing version of Christianity TO Jews, in the hope of 'helping them find jesus'. There is NO 'messianic' sect IN Judaism. There are, of course, Jews that become Christians. They are then CHRISTIANS. They do not become 'jews4jesus', nor do they become 'messianic jews'.
